Our VCC system provides students with a digital card that can only be used for approved educational expenses. When a backer funds a student, the funds go onto this VCC. Students can use the VCC at educational institutions and approved vendors, ensuring funds are used only for their intended purpose.

ProntOwl charges a small platform fee of 5% on funds raised. There are also standard payment processing fees that vary depending on the payment method. All fees are transparently displayed before any transaction is completed.

We verify students through a combination of methods including institutional email verification, enrollment documentation, and in some cases, direct communication with educational institutions. This ensures that all students on our platform are genuinely pursuing education.

Yes. As a backer, you can specify categories of expenses your funding can be used for, such as tuition, books, software, or equipment. Our VCC system ensures funds are only used within these approved categories.
